From September 11th to 16th, Ms. Naoko Wada from Ishinomaki Junior College in Japan and six student representatives visited our university for exchange. During the exchange visit, the visiting members toured educational and living facilities such as the Stone Building, the School History Museum, the VR Laboratory, the stadium, and the cafeteria on our campus. They also experienced Chinese language learning and Chinese calligraphy, had a volleyball match with the school's faculty and staff, held friendly exchange activities with students from the School of Foreign Languages, and highly praised the beautiful environment and strong learning atmosphere of our school. The visits to historical monuments and scenic spots such as Jilin City Museum, Qingshan, and Linjiangmen Square also enabled them to deeply feel the unique charm of Jilin City.
The students said that they had spent a pleasant and fulfilling time in our university and gained a lot from this exchange. Not only did they strengthen their understanding of Chinese culture, but they also personally felt the friendliness and enthusiasm of the Chinese people and forged a profound friendship with Chinese students. After returning to Japan, they will also remember this unforgettable experience and contribute to promoting friendly exchanges between China and Japan.
Our university signed an academic and educational exchange agreement with Ishinomaki Junior College in Japan in 2019. Each year, five students are dispatched to the other school for one-year exchange study. Up to now, 15 students from our university have already gone to study in Ishinomaki Junior College. The successful holding of this exchange activity has further strengthened the cooperation between our university and Ishinomaki Junior College, enriched the forms of exchanges between the two schools, and is of great significance for promoting future cooperation and exchanges between the two schools in terms of personnel exchanges, teaching and research, and discipline construction. It is also a practical measure to "tell Chinese stories well and spread the Chinese voice well".
