Zhang Jinghui stated that, standing at a new starting point, the school will hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, unswervingly follow the path of educational development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, comprehensively and thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, continuously deepen reforms, be bold in innovation, and undertake the responsibility of providing strong intellectual support for the national energy and power undertakings as well as economic and social development, making new and greater contributions of Northeast Electric Power University to the great cause of building a powerful nation and national rejuvenation!
Cai Guowei delivered a report on the school's development at the conference. In the report, he reviewed the 75-year struggle process of the school and summarized the achievements in university running since its establishment. He proposed that, facing the future, the school should adhere to inheriting the spirit of Northeast Electric Power University, bravely shoulder the mission of the times, and march bravely forward on the new journey of practicing the original aspiration and mission of "serving the country with electricity", inheriting and promoting the spirit of Northeast Electric Power University, improving the quality of independent talent cultivation, supporting high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and self-strengthening, and serving the revitalization and development of Jilin, handing in an excellent answer to the question of "What can Northeast Electric Power University do for building a powerful education nation", making the "dream of a powerful nation" endure and shine through the struggles of generations of people from Northeast Electric Power University.

Abdullaev Presented a Gift to Our Univeristy
Abdullaev, the principal of the International Industrial University of Samarkand in the Republic of Uzbekistan, who is a representative of the cooperative university and jointly established the "China Electric Power College" with our school, delivered a report on cooperative development. After the report, Abdullaev, on behalf of the International Industrial University of Samarkand, presented a gift to our school.
Wang Yanliang Spoke
Wang Yanliang, a representative of alumni, the former chief political engineer of State Grid Corporation of China and the director of the Party Building Department (Ideological and Political Work) of the Party Leadership Group, and a winner of the National May 1 Labor Medal, expressed his deep feelings of nostalgia and attachment to his alma mater with deep emotion. He was sincerely proud of the brilliant achievements made during the 75-year glorious history of the school and, combining his own learning and work experiences, put forward hopes for the vast number of students on campus.
Li Rundong Spoke
Li Rundong, a representative of alumni, the deputy Party secretary and principal of Shenyang Aerospace University, and a leading talent in scientific and technological innovation of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Plan", expressed his extreme nostalgia for the time when he studied at his alma mater and his deep gratitude for the cultivation of his alma mater. He encouraged the vast number of students to develop the habit of lifelong learning and let their dreams take flight in the great economic and social systematic transformation of clean and low-carbon energy transition, making his alma mater shine even more brightly.
Wang Qing Spoke
Wang Qing, a representative of teachers, the leader of the Innovation Team of "Changjiang Scholars" of the Ministry of Education, an outstanding teacher in the national power industry, and a professor in the School of Energy and Power Engineering, recalled the 40 years since he stayed to teach at the school in 1984. He said that he would, together with all the teachers, uphold the spirit of the school motto of "Diligence, Rigor, Truth-seeking, Innovation", practice the glorious mission of "Educating People for the Party and Cultivating Talents for the Country", and continuously polish the "gold-lettered signboard" of the school's talent cultivation.
Qu Shixian Spoke
Qu Shixian, a representative of students on campus, a winner of the "National Scholarship", and a student in Class 215 of Electrical Engineering in the School of Electrical Engineering, told about his experiences and gains during his study at the school, representing all the students on campus to express his deep feelings for his alma mater. He said that he would take over the "historical baton" and continue the glory and honor of his alma mater in the grand process of the development of the national energy and power undertakings in the new era.
Before the conference, all the participants watched the special feature film on the 75th anniversary of the school's establishment. After the conference, all the alumni, teachers, and students watched the art performance dedicated by alumni of all grades and the vast number of teachers and students to celebrate the 40th Teachers' Day and the 75th anniversary of the school's establishment. Meanwhile, the school set up branch venues in the University Student Activity Center, Academic Center, and the East Stadium of the School. The student cafeteria broadcast the performance simultaneously. More than 8,000 people, including all the freshmen of the 2024 class, some teachers and students on campus, and representatives of alumni, watched the performance in the branch venues.
After the activity, Zhang Jinghui and Cai Guowei also had separate meetings and exchanges with Abdullaev.
