1. 2+2 and 4+1 Programs with University of Strathclyde (UK)

Cooperative education in the model of 2+2 for undergraduates and 4+1 for postgraduates in Electrical Engineering and Its Automation, Communication Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering and Computer Science and Technology is taken by NEEPU and University of Strathclyde. NEEPU selects sophomores and seniors to go studying at University of Strathclyde each year regularly. The programs are degree programs. Students fulfilling the requirements for credits and grades will be granted diplomas and graduation certificates by NEEPU and University of Strathclyde.

2. Overseas Study Program with Yamanashi Eiwa College (Japan)

⑴ 2+2 Program: According to intercollegiate agreement between NEEPU and Yamanashi Eiwa College, students majored in Japanese from Foreign Language Department are selected each year regularly to study at Yamanashi Eiwa College for two years. This program is a degree program. Students fulfilling the requirements for credits and grades will be granted diplomas and graduation certificates by NEEPU and Yamanashi Eiwa College.

⑵ Short-Term Research and Study Program (Tuition Waiver): According to the agreement, students majored in Japanese are selected to do research and study at Yamanashi Eiwa College for one year. This program is a non-degree program. Credits and grades earned by students at Yamanashi Eiwa College are recognized by NEEPU.

⑶ Short-Term Research and Study Program (No Tuition Waiver): According to the agreement, students majored in Japanese are selected to do research and study at Yamanashi Eiwa College for one year. This program is a non-degree program. Credits and grades earned by students at Yamanashi Eiwa College are recognized by NEEPU.

3. Short-Term Research and Study Program with Kitami Institute of Technology (Japan)

According to the intercollegiate agreement between NEEPU and Kitami Institute of Technology, about 3 postgraduates majored in science and engineering are selected twice a year to do research and study at Kitami Institute of Technology for one year. This program is a non-degree program. Credits and grades earned by students at Yamanashi Eiwa College are recognized by NEEPU.

4. Cultural Exchange Program in Summer with Yamagata University (Japan)

According to the intercollegiate agreement between NEEPU and Yamagata University, about 3 students are selected once a year to take part in the cultural exchange program with Yamagata University in summer.

5. NEEPU and Utah State University Cooperative Education Program

NEEPU and Utah State University Cooperative Education Program was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee. In 2000, this cooperative education program began recruiting students in the majors of Business Management and Business Information Systems. The schooling time is four years. Approved by Education Department of Jilin province, this cooperative education program has been taken into the enrollment plan since 2004. The recruiting majors were changed to International Economics and Trade in 2007. In 2009, Electrical Engineering and Automation was also included. Students fulfilling the requirements for credits by NEEPU and Utah State University will be granted graduation certificates by both universities.
